When I was little, I had a doll called Jule, which was much loved. So much loved, in fact, that most of her was loved away (see exhibit A on the left). Over 30 years later, my mum found exactly the same doll in a shop during a day trip with her friends, and you can imagine by surprise and delight when the boy unwrapped it for his first Christmas (see exhibit B on the right). I found my old doll when sorting through things for the move, and thought it would be fun to take a picture of them side by side. Do any of you have nostalgic toys that your children (or nephews, nieces, godchildren) still play with today?
